Terms & Conditions

The committee of Ripon City Golf Club welcomes you to our Club. To ensure you have a pleasant day and that the interests of our members and staff are considered, the Committee require the following regulations to be observed.

1. Each visiting party must be under the control of an appointed organiser, who must ensure that these regulations are followed.

2. The organiser must make sure that the party has it's own public liability insurance in place.

3. The organiser will ensure that visitors are aware of these regulations, and will be responsible for the conduct of all visitors both on and off the course.

4. The organiser is responsible for the payment of all accounts and green fees in advance, or on the day of the visit.

5. All visitors must be able to produce a handicap certificate if requested.

6. Play must commence from the first tee unless otherwise arranged by our Secretary. Morning play will be permitted between 10.30 am and 11-30am and afternoon play from 1.45 pm.

7. All play must be from the yellow markers for gentlemen and red markers for ladies.

8. A full catering service is available with sufficient notice. Please discuss your catering requirements at least 10 days in advance with the caterer and confirm your requirements in writing.

9. Two buggies (two seat) are available for hire from the Professional (£15 per round £25 per day) for those who may need them. We regret that private buggies are not permitted on the course.

10. We do not allow mobile phones or pagers to be used in either the Clubhouse or on the course. Please leave them at home and enjoy a relaxing day with us.

11. THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Club members are encouraged to play with urgency compatible with good golf. Societies are encouraged to do the same. AVOID SLOW PLAY.

DEPOSIT: A non-refundable deposit of £10 per head is required at time of booking. Provisional bookings must be confirmed (with deposit) by 21 days after the initial enquiry. Tee reservations cannot be held for less than 12 people.

All green fees must be paid before play commences.

Final numbers, for which a full charge will be made, including catering, should be confirmed seven days before your event.

Please ensure your members are aware of the dress rules to avoid embarrassment. All members of your society should be experienced golfers.
